10-HYDROXYDECANOICACID, SEBACIC ACID, 1,10-DECANEDIOL
These ingredients act on the main factors for acne prone skin.   It reduces sebum synthesis in the skin, leading to an improvement in skin’s appearance. The activity of the bacteria responsible for problem skin is also inhibited.

D-Panthenol
D-Panthenol has the following properties:
It improves and increases the humidity properties of the skin (moisturising effect); it also makes dry
skin softer and more elastic; it has anti-inflammatory effect and soothes irritated skin; It stimulates epithelisation and helps to heal minor wounds (shaving, skin grazes and blisters).

Eyeseryl®
Eyeseryl® is a synthetic tetrapeptide with antioedema properties specifically designed to reduce puffiness around the eyes. Studies prove that the tetrapeptide Eyeseryl® is effective in reducing the appearance of dark circles and puffy, under-eye bags. Eyeseryl® helps prevent these embarrassing signs of aging by minimizing liquid retention, known to cause puffy eye bags, while enhancing the skin’s elasticity and smoothness, resulting in a decongesting effect. Skin moisturization and the appearance of elasticity were seen to increase while the appearance of puffy, under-eye bags was significantly decreased in 70% of the volunteers after only 15 days and 95% of the volunteers improved by the end of the 60-day study.

Fitobroside
FITOBROSIDE PF contains phospholipids and glycolipids which are essential for the reconstruction of the lipid layers of the stratum corneum and carbohydrates which play an important role in preserving the moisture content of the skin.
The lipids contained in FITOBROSIDE PF contribute to a quick reconstitution of the lipid membranes in the intercellular spaces of the horny layer which have been damaged. It has a high vitamin E content and essential fatty acids which can promote a smoother and younger looking skin. Keratoline

PHYTELENE COMPLEX EGX 244 BG was conceived as a whole answer to sensitive and delicate skin problems. The plants found in PHYTELENE COMPLEX EGX 244 BG were selected for synergetic and complementary activities. A first group among them will enable to reduce skin reactions, inflammation, uncomfortable feeling, whereas another group will ease skin strengthening through cell energizing or stimulation of cutaneous micro-circulation to improve the nutriments supply.

MSM
MSM is present as a basic component in all living cells. It is in rain water, but is almost completely missing from most of our food, because processing, preparing (even washing and handling) destroys the MSM. No one is allergic to it, because MSM is necessary for life! Pure MSM can only be good for you. MSM makes cell walls permeable, allowing water and nutrients to freely flow into cells and allowing wastes and toxins to properly flow out. The building blocks of the body, amino acids, are all sulfur binders and play a major role in the production of hormones and enzymes which regulate the body’s activities.  MSM and vitamin C are used by the body together to build healthy new cells. NIACINAMIDE
Aged fibroblasts secrete less collagen than young cells; niacinamide can stimulate new collagen synthesis. Niacinamide up-regulates epidermal ceramide synthesis with concurrent epidermal barrier benefits. Ceramides are now known to play a central role in the structural and functional integrity of the stratum corneum barrier function. A decrease in ceramide fraction has been reported in aged skin. It appears that topical niacinamide is able to augment the barrier properties of the skin, with accompanying clinically relevant benefits, by up-regulating endogenous biosynthesis of epidermal sphingolipids, in particular ceramides.  Niacinamide inhibits transfer of melanosomes from melanocytes to keratinocytes. Niacinamide reduces human skin hyperpigmentation. Niacinamide exerts multiple benefits on the appearance of ageing / photodamaged skin, in-vivo. Niacinamide is delivered effectively from a range of vehicles and demonstrates excellent skin compatibility.

Radiance CR

Matrixyl- Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3
Matrixyl is the trademark name for palmitoyl pentapeptide-3, one of the powerful peptide molecules found in the latest generation of high-end anti wrinkle skin care products. This breakthrough ingredient stimulates collagen production in the skin.  Matrixyl is a lipopeptide, a fatty acid mixed with amino acids. It is also considered to be a synthetic isomer (an isomer is a molecule that has an identical structure to another molecule but different atomic components). The active element in Matrixyl is called Micro-collagen – another peptide.  Matrixyl was discovered through two branches of dermatological research: the search for substances that accelerate healing skin wounds and the study of what causes wrinkles. Similarly to copper peptides, Matrixyl stimulates the lower layers of the skin to heal themselves, thus accelerating the healing of wounds. Cells called fibroblasts are responsible for knitting together wounds of the skin. As you may know, as one ages wounds take longer to heal. This is partially because fibroblasts slowly lose the capacity for collagen production.  Matrixyl stimulates the “matrix” layers in the skin — primarily collagen and fibronectin. When stimulated, the skin produces more collagen. Loss of collagen is what leads to thinning skin and the wrinkling of newly inelastic skin. Matrixyl helps to counteract this natural part of the aging process.

ALLANTOIN
This extract is a naturally occurring chemical compound found in botanical extracts.  can be found in a wide array of products because of its ability to promote healthy skin. Arnica
Arnica is a perennial that grows to a height of 1 – 2 feet with yellow-orange flowers similar to daisies. Stems are round and hairy, ending in one to three flower stalks, with flowers 2 – 3 inches across. Leaves are bright green. The upper leaves are toothed and slightly hairy, while lower leaves have rounded tips. It is native to the mountains of Europe and Siberia, and is cultivated in North America.  Arnica (Arnica montana) has been used for medicinal purposes since the 1500s and remains popular today. Applied topically as a cream, ointment, liniment, salve, or tincture, Europeans and Native Americans have used arnica to soothe muscle aches, reduce inflammation, and heal wounds. It is often the first remedy used for injuries such as sprains and bruises. Arnica in herbal form is primarily restricted to topical (external) use because it can cause serious side effects when taken internally. Arnica is often used in homeopathy, and should be taken internally only in the extremely diluted form common to homeopathic remedies. If you have any question about whether you have the herbal or homeopathic form of arnica, talk to your doctor before taking it.

Centella Aciatica
Centella asiatica (also known as gotu kola, Indian Pennywort and Mandookaparni) has been used for centuries as a medicinal herb and was referred to in the French pharmacopoeia in 1884, as well as the ancient traditional Chinese Shennong Herbal some 2,000 years ago, as well in Indian Ayurvedic medicine some 3,000 years ago.  It contains a variety of ingredients, but the active ingredients are asiaticoside (a triterpene glycoside) (triterpenoid), brahmoside and brahminoside (both saponin glycosides), madecassoside (a glycoside with strong anti-inflammatory properties), madecassic acid, thiamine, riboflavin, pyridoxine, vitamin K, asparate, glutamate, serine, threonine, alanine, lysine, histidine, magnesium, calcium and sodium.
It has a high concentration of thiamine (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2) and pyridoxine (vitamin B6) which assists to convert carbohydrates into glucose as well as normal nervous system functioning.  With its effect on connective tissue, great value is achieved with the synthesis of collagen, thickening of the skin (a great anti-aging property – as we age our skins become thinner), increasing the tensile strength of the flesh, wound healing, and repair of damaged tissue.

CERATONIA SILIQUA GUM
This ingredient is completely plant-derived and is the alternative to hyaluronic acid and collagen.  Regular use will impart an overall reduction of skin roughness and fine wrinkles. It provides finished skin care formulations with the feel of exceptional lubricity, incredibly luxurious slip and a remarkable feel to the skin. It forms a thin, light permeable, visco-elastic film on the skin increasing smoothness and elasticity.

Copaiba
Copaiba trees are considerably branched and grow from 15-30 m high. They produce many small, white flowers on long panicles and small fruit pods with 2-4 seeds inside. There are 35 species of Copaifera, found mainly in tropical South America.  The part of the tree that is often employed medicinally is the oleoresin that accumulates in cavities within the tree trunk. A single copaiba tree can provide about 40 liters of oleoresin annually, making it a sustainable rainforest resource that can be harvested without destroying the tree or the forest in which it grows. On the Rio Solimoes in northwest Amazonia, copaiba resin is used topically by indigenous tribes as a wound healer, to stop bleeding, for skin sores and psoriasis, and to treat gonorrhea. Healers and curanderos in the Amazon today use copaiba resin for all types of pain, for skin disorders and insect bites, and to cool inflammation.  In Brazilian herbal medicine systems the resin is used as a strong antiseptic and expectorant for the respiratory tract (including bronchitis and sinusitis), as an anti-inflammatory and antiseptic for the urinary tract (for cystitis, bladder, and kidney infections), as a topical anti-inflammatory agent for all types of skin problems.

Ginko Biloba
The therapeutic properties of this herb in skin care is that of being a vasodilator, increasing circulation, improving sebaceous secretions, decreasing capillary hyper-permeability, improving tissue irrigation and activating cell metabolism (especially in the cortex, by increasing glucose and oxygen uptake). It also has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergenic properties.

Cyclopia, an indigenous shrub of the Cape fynbos, grows in the mountainous areas of the coastal districts of the Cape, South Africa. Furthermore, Honeybush contains minerals such as iron, potassium, calcium,

Liposilt® is a naturally occurring bioactive silt, rich in organic components ideal for nourishing, moisturizing and treating skin. Existing in and collected from only two of the 240 freshwater lakes in Eastern Europe, Liposilt® is a finely dispersed hydrated organic multicomponent
colloid of fresh water sediments. Liposilt® Black is collected from an oxygenated portion of the lake; it contains humic acid, organic nitrogen and free fatty acids. Liposilt® contains more than 90% organic matter. Clinical studies have shown that Liposilt® Black improves the surface characteristics of the

Marula belongs to the family of Anacardiaciae. It grows in countries such as Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Malawi and Swaziland. The fruit of the marula is similar to the mango, is orange in colour and irregular in shape (4 cm diameter) with a very thick skin. It is harvested at the end of summer to autumn. The seed located within the fruit is surrounded by a hard external shell containing two or three kernels. The oil is extracted from the kernels, which contain between 55 and 60% oil. Each part of the tree is used for its beneficial effects

Rovisome C –  Liposome Vitamin C
Liposome Vitamin C MAP is a phosphate ester, and therefore can be hydrolyzed to ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) in the skin by enzymes (phosphatase), at which point it will show its physiological and pharmacological activities. In order to achieve these results, however, MAP must penetrate the Corneocyte Layer to reach the target layers of skin. This is the purpose of the Liposome Deliver System (LDS). A Liposome is a vesicle that forms when phospholipids hydrate in water. Studies have shown that TWICE as much of the active is delivered to the living epidermis by an LDS when compared to topical application of the active alone.

Vitamin C Actives has been widely used in various cosmetics and quasi-drugs because of its advantageous properties such as inhibitory effects on melanogenesis, promotion of collagen synthesis, and prevention of lipid peroxidation.   Vitamin C is especially useful in anti-wrinkle and skin lightening formula, and its performance in these two arenas can be potentiated by coupling the Rovisome C with Sodium Lactate in the formula. Application areas for Rovisome C would include: skin toning, elasticity, moisturization, wrinkle reduction, moisturizing, skin tightening, penetration, peeling, carrier system, whitening.  How does the performance of rovisome c compare to that of ascorbic acid?  Ascorbic acid has several documented physiological and pharmacological effects on the skin.
